BUSINESS & THE ECONOMY
The free market works and it must be free. In my roles on the Business and Labor Committee and as the chair of the Administrative Rules Committee I have worked to deregulate government and provide oversight on the state government when it is in the way.
To support our businesses, I formed the Business and Chancery Court in the state of Utah. This marks a significant advancement in the state's judicial system, aimed at efficiently addressing complex business disputes and equitable claims. This specialized court serves to streamline legal processes for commercial matters, providing a dedicated forum for resolving intricate issues such as corporate governance, contract disputes, and other business-related litigation. By focusing on these areas, the court enhances the predictability and effectiveness of legal resolutions, ultimately fostering a more robust business environment in Utah.
